Q: What can I expect on my first appointment at The Spine Center?

A:  Please arrive a few minute early to your appointment, since there is some construction in the area of the hospital, there may be delays in traffic.  If you have your records or x-rays from previous doctors you bring those with you or plan on sending them to our staff before your appointment.  Our staff will create a new medical chart for you and will ask you to complete a medical history form to capture any information on your present health condition.  Your doctor will review your records, prior x-rays and any relevant reports on your medical case.  He will perform a comprehensive examination, and he may ask for some new tests to be taken to make sure that he has the most current information and images of your spine.  Once all the testing has been done and information has been gathered, your doctor will be able to develop a diagnosis and suggest a treatment plan for your condition.
